Golden Carabiner Scavenger Hunt is coming to the Gunks! On October 26th, 30 Golden Carabiners will be hidden in the Trapps for you and your partner to find and redeem for Black Diamond prizes! Redeem prizes at the afterparty hosted at the Mohonk Preserve Visitors Center from 5:30-8:30pm.

To participate, sign up by purchasing a clue sheet at the link below. This event is raising funds for the Gunks Climber’s Coalition. Both partners must sign up to qualify for prizes. Clue sheets will be available to pick up at Rock and Snow from 7am on October 26th.

Up next, Marissa’s gear! She really likes the cams and Alloy Offsets and Peenuts. She racks her gear on a retired sling - likely bought at Rock & Snow in the 80s! She always carries a locking carabiner quick draw for a quick, secure top rope set up. To label her quick draws, she has some fun, hand made fabric sleeves!
