Good morning, good evening, good day—this all depends on when you’re reading this. We’ve kept our communications brief lately, focusing mainly on the Friday Five. However, since it’s eclipse season, and with a full solar eclipse occurring this Monday, we wanted to share a bit about why we do what we do. Over the past several months, we’ve mainly shared playlists on our website. Music is what brought us together many years ago. Morgan would create mixed CDs for ; they curated dinners themed around songs or albums, and crafted musical experiences for people at home, during events, and even at James Beard dinners. Club Duquette is more than a shop—it’s a lifestyle. We are artists. It’s not as serious as it sounds, but it’s simply how we approach life. Whether lighting our favorite incense to set the mood before sketching, painting, writing a song, recording new tracks, or just listening to music, every action is a part of our art.
