Hello Friends!
5thirty2 is once again On The Move! After 2.5 years in the storefront and with careful evaluation & communication with God, I have decided to close my brick & mortar location & shift attention back to online sales, while incorporating a New monthly Pop Up Experience. It was a hard but smart decision that I’ve actually pondered for close to a year, and one that not only better aligns with my capacity as a solo entrepreneur, but will also allow my creativity & talents to flourish!
✨✨✨
I’m so grateful that God sought me for an opportunity that I never saw for myself. You see, brick & mortar was never on my radar, I’d never had prior retail experience and I’ve always been quite comfortable working behind the scenes instead of customer-facing; I was just fine running my business behind a computer! God saw something different for me and after only 8 total months in business, and one month after launching my website I was approached with the opportunity to run my own physical store. I mean He gave me absolutely NO time to get into another comfort zone 😂
The deal was pretty unbelievable: a fully functioning store complete with furniture, fixtures, start up inventory & more! All I had to do was show up with my own inventory and iPad & I was ready for work. MY answer was immediately no, but I knew this was something that Only God could orchestrate…He told me to Do It scared, uncertain, and without focusing on what I DIDN’T have. He allowed me to combine the gifts & talents He gave me with 23 total years of corporate Customer Service & Leadership experience & apply that skill set to my running my own business. MIND BLOWING.

Suite 200 was a Blessed space! So many people told me they felt it when they entered, most notably complete strangers. I’ll never forget the very first new customer who visited while in the area for another reason & eventually purchased a dress to be worn to her bridal shower (which was a year away). She continues to be one of my biggest supporters to this day; or the time a woman wandered in the store after visiting a neighboring business & prayed over me and mine; and the time another woman came in but was uncertain about spending. I encouraged her to try that jumpsuit on, and after showering her with authentic compliments she became emotional, yet full with The Spirit telling me that she hadn’t felt beautiful in a while. I had another visitor that day who witnessed this moment, went to her car and retrieved ‘The Oil’ and anointed this woman on the spot; it became a full on worship experience and I’m sure the people in the Armed Forces recruitment center next door wondered what was happening 😂; the times when clients & friends would randomly stop by just for Girl Time on the sofa & we’d just wind down. Most ladies loved to simply ‘stay a while’ and sit on those beautiful black velvet tufted sofas & we’d do just that, sometimes with a nice glass of Stella😄; the fashion shows that 5thirty2 has participated in as a result of this space. The chance encounter & subsequent collaboration with NDulge Collection.

I know why God placed me in Suite 200: to meet people I would not have been able to otherwise, had I ‘stayed behind the computer.’ It was about Relationship & Connection. 5thirty2 is not just about selling clothes, but creating impactful life experiences. He allowed me to have this moment to show me just how much I was capable of!🫶🏾

And just like God told me to MOVE when it was time to enter that space, He told me when to let it go. On Sunday, 5/19 He confirmed to me that it was time to Release it in order to Receive more of what He has stored up for me.
I’m certain about several things concerning me and God: I have History with Him; He Favors me & that Favor Follows me. He Don’t Play About Me. He Loves Me! The gifts He bestowed upon me are not confined to a single space!
