Unfortunately after this weekends heavy rain our building has faced significant water damage due to a clogged drain on our roof. We are unable to open at this time and will be closed until further notice.

We’ve been in touch with a restoration company and our insurance company and will share any further news as it becomes available to us.

Before we get into details for our upcoming sale we’d like to thank everyone for all of the kind words we’ve received since announcing our upcoming close. We truly are so grateful for our customers and community and all the support we’ve received means the world to us.

You may have noticed that we took a long weekend. We’ve been hard at work making preparations and planning for the sale. We’ll be reopening on Wednesday and back to regular business hours.

The sale will start on Wednesday, with the entire store 30% off. From this point forward all sales will be final.

We’ve also changed our business hours. New hours are as follows:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday - Friday: 10am-5:30pm
Saturday: 10am-3pm
Sunday: Closed

Dear valued customers and friends,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Waughs, after 104 years of serving our wonderful community. Since 1920, Waughs has been more than just a clothing store; it has been a part of our lives, our history, and our hearts.

Over the decades, we have had the pleasure of dressing generations, witnessing countless milestones, and sharing in your joy and memories. We have cherished every moment spent helping you find the perfect outfit and will always treasure the relationships we’ve built along the way.

This decision has not been made lightly. The changing times and challenges we face today have made it impossible for us to continue. While we are deeply saddened, we are also incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty you have shown us over the years.

To our amazing staff, past and present, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and passion. You have been the backbone of Waughs, and we couldn't have done it without you.

As we close our doors, we hold onto the fond memories and the impact we've had on our beloved community. We hope that Waughs has made a positive mark on your lives as much as you have on ours.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. We will miss you all dearly.
