I interrupt this feed to bring you A Carrot. I’m not sure what to say except that Intern #2 would NOT be talked into anything else but due to the lack non-Jack-o-lantern printed orange anything everyone thought she was a pumpkin. Don’t worry. Little miss precocious made sure to set the record straight.

If you’re like me you’ve always hated when people ask you what your favorite food is. There are too many delicious flavors to like any one of them best BUT my favorite food genre is definitely dip. Any kind. Cheese dip is my forever comfort food, but sometimes you need a little zing and that’s where the ’s Shrimpo de Gallo comes in. I’ve eaten approx 3 gallons of it so far this football season and I’m not stopping anytime soon. Do yourself (and your tailgate) a favor and whip this up, then serve it in ’s acrylic serving bowl for easy transport and no worries about errant football throws

It actually feels like fall today 🙌🏼🙌🏼 so I’m throwing it back to this roadside arrangement from the PNW. No shade to Olive Garden parking lots in the South but I’ve never had better foraging than when visiting (pumpkins were from a local farmer so they count)

I’ve been coming to this fort since I was Intern #2’s age but this is probably the first time I appreciate the design elements more than it’s epic hide & seek factor. Wondering how possible it’d be to convince Intern #3 (aka the hubs) to redesign our house around these doors 🤍😍🤍

Nothing beats a dahlia at its peak but let’s give some credit to these mums holding their own in there. I’m not hating it. Also on the list of things I don’t hate: the crepe myrtle berries from the Olive Garden parking lot

I can look at this photo and *almost* believe the high today isn’t 84 and that I’ll be comfortable outside in a light vest and cute fall hat. Maybe next month 🤷🏼‍♀️. Until then I’ll be drooling over all the colors of dahlias from and keeping the interns from whining about not watching Wild Kratts because

Even a junk cart in Paris somehow is styled beautifully and I’m really wishing that I’d snagged those giant moss balls for my front planters because I cannot keep anything alive on my front porch- not even for a pantry full of or a house full of puppies. Ah well, c’est la vie
